Yep, I am upgrading Cameras. I have been using my wife's Canon G12 for some time now. While its a good camera, it lacks bad in pixel count at only 12MP. I will be taking over her Canon Rebel T3i as my main camera starting tomorrow and will be upgrading lens to a UWA. I have use the camera in the past and its a fairly good camera. Later own the summer I do however plan to buy a Canon T4i or T5i if its released around July as rumored. What this means to my photos is they will be getting sharper image quality. The T3i is a 18MP (17.9 actual) cam. Really raising the resolution of my photos. I have a excellent medium telephoto lens coming tomorrow. A Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 Lens. While its not an L lens, the image quality is just as good as the L lens and it also is twice as fast when using Autofocus. So what does the L lens offer over this? A little weather proofing for rainy days and slightly heavier build quality is all if you don't count the 3 times higher price tag!
